Please review the following terms and conditions governing your use and purchase of products of our Site. RAKAN reserves the right to modify, alter, or update the Terms of Use at any time.
SITE CONTENTS
Unless otherwise noted, the design of the Site, the Site as a whole, and all materials that are part of the Site are intellectual properties owned by RAKAN.
USE OF IMAGERY ON BLOGS
Images from RAKAN may be used if credit for the origin of images is credited to RAKAN | rakanshamsaldeen.com | @rakanshamsaldeen.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
The prices displayed on the Site are quoted in U.S. dollars. While we have tried to accurately display the colors of products, the actual colors you see depend on your monitor and may not be accurate.
EVERYTHING IS MADE TO ORDER
All garments are custom made in RAKAN’s studio and are made to order. Estimated shipping is within 3-4 weeks after order is placed and confirmed.
SHIPPING
Orders will be shipped ‘Standard Ground’ unless notified otherwise. Signature upon delivery required with purchases. RAKAN is not responsible for lost and/or stolen packages. You will receive an email to confirm your shipment with tracking information once your order has been shipped (estimated shipping is within 3-4 weeks from time of order).
WE DO NOT OFFER
We do not offer returns, but do offer exchanges on most U.S. orders that meet our exchange policy requirements. We do not offer returns or exchanges for orders outside of the continental U.S. We do not offer returns or exchanges on custom made orders as the piece(s) are constructed to customer's specific size.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY
We do not offer returns. You must email info@rakanshamsaldeen.com prior to sending an exchange.
The request needs to be done within 24 HOURS of order placement, or within 48 HOURS from receiving your order.
You can also reach out to us at info@rakanshamsaldeen during that time frame as exchanges will not be accepted post that period nor will they be accepted if they have been shipped back to us without our consent.
Exchanges will also not be accepted if the item is not in the exact condition in which it was shipped: in its original packaging, unworn, undamaged, unaltered, label and tag accompanied by all of its accessories and a copy of purchase invoice. Once the exchange has been approved by us, you are kindly requested to ship it back, with shipping expense and all potential custom duties covered by your side.
We have the right to deny your exchange if the merchandise returned does not meet our exchange policy requirements. After 48 HOURS from receiving your order. the merchandise is considered final sale and not considered for exchange.
Since all items are made to order, the estimated time to ship the exchanged piece is 3-4 weeks after exchange is approved by RAKAN. Customer is responsible for exchange shipping costs.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Once your order is placed, you may request a cancellation within 24 hours by emailing us at info@rakanshamsaldeen.com. Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded afterwards as the process of creating the pieces has started.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Orders that are designated for shipment to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to local taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ["Import Fees"]. The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees as they are charged by your local customs.
All sales to customers outside the US. Are final sales and the total price at checkout excludes customs taxes and duties, they are applied depending on the destination country and location. If you refuse a shipment from RAKAN, you are responsible for the original purchase and shipping charges, any Import Fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to RAKAN.
Thus, prior to officially placing your order, it is highly recommended to contact your local customs authority in order to determine the estimated price to avoid any misunderstandings.
